The Nicholson A8 Debarker is now available in a new 31 inch ring size.

The A8 has always been available in 22, 27 and 35 inch ring sizes. The new 31 inch ring was introduced to provide an exact fit for those mills that are now getting furnish that is too big for their 27 inch debarker, and yet not big enough to require a 35 inch. 

The new 31inch ring also provides faster and more efficient debarking for customers who are not getting the large 35 inch logs that they processed in the past.

These mills may need to speed up their log processing phase to adjust to the new smaller log sizes and stay competitive.

The 31 is especially recommended for mills with an older 35 inch or larger debarker, that now need to upgrade with a new but slightly smaller debarker.
