The A6 Medium Speed Ring Debarker  The A6 is an excellent choice for medium speed applications, especially with larger diameter high value hardwood or softwood logs. Ring sizes range from 22 to 44 inches (559 to 1118 mm). This is a versatile, proven and rugged debarker.  The A6 uses a sliding ring design. The bottom of the log always stays at the same height, making it easy to install the A6. To adjust to each log’s diameter, the debarking ring moves up and down in a carriage. Log diameter is sensed and the ring is moved to the center of the log. Pairs of holddown rolls firmly hold the log in the feedworks. Available in a chain style feedworks configuration. The A6 is one of the most versatile debarkers made.
